Valley Crossroads Leaders Advocate in Washington for Saratoga Springs Post Office
Local Leaders Unite to Support the Community

The Valley Crossroads Chamber of Commerce is proud to stand alongside our local leaders as they advocate for the needs of our growing communities.
Recently, Mayor Chris Carn of Saratoga Springs and Congressman Burgess Owens addressed the U.S. House of Representatives Natural Resources Subcommittee during a hearing on H.R. 4716 — the Saratoga Springs Post Office Act. The legislation, sponsored by Congressman Owens, seeks to bring a dedicated United States Post Office to Saratoga Springs, a long-standing need for one of the fastest-growing regions in Utah.
Local Leaders Unite to Support the Community
The hearing represented a strong show of collaboration between local and federal leadership.
In addition to Mayor Chris Carn, the effort was supported by:
- Mayors and councilmembers from Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, and Lehi
- City staff and community advocates
Together, these leaders traveled to Washington, D.C., to demonstrate the importance of establishing a post office that can serve the rapidly expanding population and business community in the Valley Crossroads region.
Advocating for Local Business and Community Needs
For businesses and residents in Saratoga Springs and surrounding communities, access to reliable postal services is an essential part of infrastructure.
As the region continues to grow, the need for a dedicated post office has become increasingly important for:
- Small businesses that rely on shipping and mail services
- Residents who currently travel outside the city for postal services
- Supporting continued economic growth across the Valley Crossroads region
The Valley Crossroads Chamber believes strong partnerships between local government, federal representatives, and the business community are key to addressing these needs.
Leadership That Serves the Region
We are incredibly proud of the mayors and councilmembers who work tirelessly to advocate for our region and support the communities where we live and do business.
We also extend our appreciation to Congressman Burgess Owens for sponsoring the legislation and for his commitment to engaging with local leaders on issues that impact our businesses and residents.
Their leadership and collaboration are powerful examples of how government and community leaders can work together to strengthen our region.
