The Junior Chamber at LaunchPad is designed to empower high school students (ages 14–18) who are interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership. This updated format focuses on hands-on learning inside our Makerspace, podcast recording studio, and computer labs—giving students real tools to explore real ideas.
On the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 2:00–4:00 PM, students can participate in Open Lab time at the LaunchPad Business Resource Center. During these sessions, students will learn how to use machines in the Makerspace and prototyping workshop, record in the podcast studio, access computer labs, and work on business ideas. In addition to hands-on lab time, a local business leader will attend each session to share their entrepreneurial journey, challenges, and advice.
This program bridges the gap between education and real-world application—building confidence, creativity, and practical business skills in Eagle Mountain’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
Upcoming Maker Space Wednesdays (2–4 PM):
3/18, 4/1, 4/15, 5/6
Junior Shop Fest – Sell Your Product at Shop Fest
Junior Shop Fest gives student entrepreneurs the opportunity to operate their own booth at Shop Fest and sell products they’ve created. This experience allows students to apply what they’ve learned—pricing, marketing, customer interaction, and product presentation—in a real marketplace environment.
Participants gain firsthand experience running a small business in a community event setting while building confidence and learning directly from customer feedback. Junior Shop Fest turns ideas into action and gives students a safe but real platform to test and grow their entrepreneurial skills.
