About the GEARS Foundation

The GEARS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to building economic opportunity through Growth, Education, Advocacy, Resources, and Service. We deliver hands-on programs that help youth and adults launch businesses, develop trade and technology skills, and participate fully in the modern economy.

Founded by leaders from the Valley Crossroads business community, we serve Utah’s fastest-growing community — and we’re building something extraordinary together.

What we provide

The GEARS Foundation offers transformative programs that build skills, create opportunities, and empower both youth and adults to thrive in business and life. Here's how we’re shaping the future of Utah and beyond:

What Donations Support

  • $1,000 sponsors 4 students for Jr. ShopFest & Junior Chamber
  • $1,500 funds 3 months Young Entrepreneur nights w/ Maker Space & Networking
  • $2,000 purchases an additional 3D printer for LaunchPad
  • $2,500 funds a Blueprint Initiative career bootcamp
  • $5,000 supports a full quarter of workshops at the Digital Literacy Center
  • $10,000 helps support local startups launch through our LaunchPad Business Incubator
